The good inclination’s list reads, “Free immigration; tolerance; hospitality; American traditions; kind-heartedness; open-mindedness; idealism.” The evil inclination’s list reads, “Immigration ban; chauvinism; race hatred; anti-Americanism; hard-heartedness; closed-mindedness; egoism; cruelty; despotism."
